Distributor Data Specialist

Job Location: Colchester, VT

We are seeking a Distributor Data Specialist to join our SRS Team.  Our Supplier Services business is focused on moving data between distributors and suppliers in the beverage industry. This data is a driving force in marketing and supply chain planning and is vital to the business practices of our customers. This entry-level position is well-suited to an inquisitive self-starter willing to ask questions and work with little direct supervision. The Distributor Manager is responsible for monitoring a set of assigned distributor accounts to ensure the prompt and accurate reporting of data based on supplier guidelines.

Systems Engineer

Job Location: Colchester, VT

VIP is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure in Colchester, VT. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering a mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security on the VIP systems.

Primary responsibilities include the implementation and support of virtualized x86 systems, networking equipment, and other supporting IT infrastructure. These systems will support functions such as reverse proxies, web application servers, web service servers, NAS solutions, FTP servers, and other functions within our infrastructure. Another focus of the role will be process automation to streamline our system builds and updates as well as performance monitoring.

IT Operations Support Technician

Job Location: Colchester, VT

We are seeking an Operations Technician to join our IT Department.  This person will be the first response, triage, and Level 1 troubleshooting contact within IT Operations and Service Management.  The IT Operations Support Technician will diagnosis of root cause of an issue and perform the steps necessary to fully log the incident, including the troubleshooting steps taken and the resulting resolution.  When incident resolution is beyond the expertise of the technician, it will be their responsibility to effectively escalate to the appropriate technical area for Level 2 troubleshooting and resolution.

We are looking for a highly motivated, action-oriented and well-spoken Account Manager to join our Inside Sales Team.  The Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding the customer’s needs, demonstrating software and ensuring a smooth sales process.  Got that?  Ok, but you also need to close sales and meet targets.

Are you someone who feels comfortable talking to anyone?  Are you able to listen and then offer your opinion?  Are you able to be competitive and also have friends in the office?  To be successful in this role you will need to combine strong communication skills with confidence in explaining technical procedures and the highest level of professional courtesy to focus on what is right for the customer. 

 

A typical 'Day in the Life' would include:

 

Morning - Plan your sales calls and get busy!  Based on our market position we receive leads from customers and prospects every day.  Most sales cycles take four impressions (introduction and investigation conversation, software demo, contract review and follow up).  Did we mention demonstrating software?  We love our customers and we love to demonstrate our software for them. 

Mid-Day - As a member of our inside sales team you will have lots of follow up with customers, while also leaving time in your day for some healthy activity.  We have onsite basketball & street hockey courts, a full gym with locker rooms & showers, nearby trails for running & biking and many other groups, clubs and activities to enjoy on your lunch hour.  With a fresh view on life you will return to the second half of your day ready to spend time learning about one of our newer products.

Afternoon - Work with our sales campaign manager to maximize the messaging in your territory.  Knowing the latest sales campaign will help you position the right products to the right customers.  At the end of your day you will use up the ink in your favorite contract pen (electronically).

Evening - Kick back with your friends and tell them that you work for a great company, while enjoying a beverage crafted by one of our thousands of satisfied customers.  Retire the day looking forward to seeing your co-workers tomorrow.
