Web Application Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a new or experienced Web Developer to work on the creation of new, enterprise level applications as well as the maintenance of existing applications. We are looking for a high energy, self-starter who loves to create usable applications in an individual or team environment.

Requirements:

Job Description:

We are seeking a Distributor Data Manager to join our SRS Team.  Our Supplier Services business is focused on moving data between distributors and suppliers in the beverage industry. This data is a driving force in marketing and supply chain planning and is vital to the business practices of our customers. This non-technical entry-level position is well-suited to an inquisitive self-starter willing to ask questions and work with little direct supervision. RPG Software Developer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be innovative, customer focused, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. VIP Software Developers work with our existing suite of software applications. Developers are responsible for creating new programs, enhancing existing programs by adding features, coding interfaces and fixing software bugs.

The successful candidate will have practical programming experience in RPG, knowledge of programming best practices, and have the ability to work in a high energy environment. As a Software Developer you work with a team of programmers who improve the features and stability of existing applications. You are assigned programming changes as a unit of work. Changes are identified by our customers and are related to minor enhancements, fixes to bugs, customization of software or interface (data extracts).

  • Review request and clarify requirements with customer or service team
  • Estimate coding effort and approximate due date

Job Description:

The Item Catalog Data Specialist plays a critical role in the ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive catalog of packages and brands that VIP has created for the Beverage Industry. This entry-level position is responsible for monitoring a group of assigned accounts (beverage suppliers & distributors), and assist them in adding content to the Item Catalog that meets a set of data quality rules.

  • Validate and ensure data quality and accuracy on an ongoing basis
  • Populate and maintain individual items, brands, and their attributes within the item catalog based on a set of established business rules
  • Monitor incoming data requests and assist customers in uploading and downloading data from the catalog
  • Assist in documenting data creation and maintenance procedures

iOS Application Developer

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our iOS development team to help create and maintain our suite of iOS applications, which complement our industry-leading software platforms. VIP's iOS applications are indispensable tools used by thousands of beverage industry employees everyday. If you have enjoyed a beer, soft drink, wine, or spirit lately there's a good chance one of our iOS applications was used in the journey from the supplier to your glass.

As an iOS developer at VIP you will develop mission-critical iOS applications for the beverage industry using the latest Apple technologies and frameworks. Our native iOS applications are written in a combination of Swift and Objective-C and are built using the latest iOS SDK.

Qualifications
