Distributor Data Manager

Location: Colchester, VT

We are seeking a Distributor Data Manager to join our SRS Team.  Our Supplier Services business is focused on moving data between distributors and suppliers in the beverage industry. This data is a driving force in marketing and supply chain planning and is vital to the business practices of our customers. RPG Software Developer

Location: Colchester, VT

We are seeking an innovative, customer focused, self-directed individual to join the VIP RPG Development Team.  VIP Software Developers work with our existing suite of software applications and are responsible for creating new programs, enhancing existing programs by adding features, coding interfaces and fixing software bugs.

iOS Application Developer

Systems Engineer

Location: Colchester, VT

VIP is looking for a Systems Engineer to assist in the building, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our rapidly expanding infrastructure in Colchester, VT.  This person will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security on the VIP systems.  The primary responsibility of this role will be the support of x86 hardware running Windows and Linux (mostly VM based), networking equipment (primarily Cisco), and other supporting applications within our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure including x86-based servers, applications running on those servers, and the services the infrastructure provides.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Provide IT-based support to VIP employees
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

UI/UX Designer

Location: Colchester, VT


VIP is looking to grow its newly established design team. This is a new role that will join a team of two designers and help expand our resources to additional development teams at VIP. A keen eye for design is a must, as well as experience with graphic design software. This role will help promote design culture within VIP and communicate their designs effectively with stakeholders, developers, and designers.  This person will need to be flexible and accommodating as we establish new capabilities at VIP. We are a long standing company, but only recently are incorporating UX/UX design in our processes. Exploration and experimentation is still needed to determine how designers will best fit into existing development teams.  A strong understanding of foundational interaction design principles is a must, especially for multi-channel experiences. Our designers will need to be fluent in mobile and desktop design standards.


The VIP design team also works on documenting and evolving VIP’s general visual presentation. As a UI/UX designer, you’ll also contribute to our design documentation for our design systems and our brand standards. Strong writing skills are very helpful in this role.  As a member of the UI/UX Design team, your initial responsibilities may include:

  • Applying our new design standards to VIP applications with mockups and/or prototypes
  • Writing documentation for our expanding design standards
  • Evaluating VIP applications’ compliance with accessibility standards and making recommendations based on those evaluations
  • Identifying opportunities to enrich and optimize current development processes with design services
  • Performing heuristic evaluations of VIP’s current applications
  • Conducting basic usability tests and/or user research to resolve design decisions within development teams

The ideal candidate will have these skills and experience:

VIP is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to develop and maintain documentation and training materials for our expanding product line. Our goal is to help our customers use VIP products to their full potential by providing easy-to-use content. We deliver content in a variety of methods, including online Knowledge Bases, embedded help, job aids, quick references, release notes, short training videos, and eLearning modules.

Our tech writers work closely with product owners and development teams to track and understand product changes. They collaborate with support and implementation teams to write monthly release notes, keep existing content up to date, and develop new content. Writers also assist in developing articles for our newsletter and preparing content for conferences and regional trainings.

The ideal candidate will have:
