1) Web Application Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a new or experienced Web Developer to work on the creation of new, enterprise level applications as well as the maintenance of existing applications. We are looking for a high energy, self-starter who loves to create usable applications in an individual or team environment.

Requirements:

• A passion for web development
• 1-5 years of web development experience
• Experience with more complex JavaScript
• Experience with SQL
• Demonstrate your skills by providing code samples to document your involvement in significant prior projects

 2) Item Catalog Content Manager

Job Description:

VIP is seeking an Item Catalog Content Manager. The Data Steward plays a critical role in the ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive catalog of packages and brands that VIP has created for the Beverage Industry. Resonsibilities include: 

  • Validate and ensure data quality and accuracy on an ongoing basis.
  • Populate and maintain individual items, brands, and their attributes within the item catalog, based on a set of established business rules. 
  • Monitor incoming data requests and assist customers in uploading and downloading data from the catalog. 
  • Assist in documenting data creation and maintenance procedures. 
Requirements: 
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize work. 
  • Speed and proficiency on a standard keyboard. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and others inside the company to solve problems.

4) Data Acquisition Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist to join our SRS Team. This entry-level position is responsible for monitoring a set of assigned accounts to ensure the prompt and accurate reporting of data on customer guidelines.  
 
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills to assess and implement information from multiple resources.
  • Communication skills including an ability to summarize technical requirements to assist in file structure troubleshooting and correction. 
  • Ability to discern errors in alpanumeric codes and file structure based on comparison to a template, spec sheet or master list.
  • Self-organization to meet daily, weekly and monthly resonsibilities, both to the company and the customer. 
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of working with spreadsheets (excel). 
  • Working knowledge of IBM AS400 system beneficial but not required.
  • Data analysis or other analytical experience helpful but not required.

5) Database Beer Curator

Job Description:

The Database Beer Curator is an entry level candidate that is passionate about beer and its many different classifications to help curate a comprehensive catalog of beer, wine, and spirits packages and brands for the Beverage Industry. This data entry intensive position is responsible for creating entries and filling gaps in existing data through research, customer interaction, and other resources.

  • Create and maintain database entries, ensuring overall quality and accuracy of all required business attributes and associated product images.
  • Assist participating customers in the creating and updating database entries.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies associated with job.

6) RPG Software Developer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be innovative, customer focused, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. VIP Software Developers work with our existing suite of software applications. Developers are responsible for creating new programs, enhancing existing programs by adding features, coding interfaces and fixing software bugs.

The successful candidate will have practical programming experience in RPG, knowledge of programming best practices, and have the ability to work in a high energy environment. As a Software Developer you work with a team of programmers who improve the features and stability of existing applications. You are assigned programming changes as a unit of work. Changes are identified by our customers and are related to minor enhancements, fixes to bugs, customization of software or interface (data extracts).

  • Review request and clarify requirements with customer or service team
  • Estimate coding effort and approximate due date
  • Identify best programming language and code to satisfy requirements
  • Make coding changes in appropriate source controlled environments
  • Document programming changes and outline of testing protocol
  • Release code to QC for creation of distribution
  • Be available to support the coding changes as a Tier 3 resource to Customer Support

The Customer Support Specialist will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services, as well as provide internal support and set up for launch of new customers. Ability to train and teach customers to use software products is required.
Successful software specialists must enjoy working with others, be a fast learner, have excellent technical diagnostic skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
